# How to Delete Your Account

This article explains how to delete your 100Hires account and remove all associated data. Account deletion is permanent and requires contacting our support team directly.

**Looking to stop paying rather than delete everything?** You do not have to delete your account to stop being charged. From [Settings / Billing](https://app.100hires.com/settings/billing) you can pause your subscription for up to three months, move to a smaller plan, or cancel while keeping your data — see [How to Pause, Downgrade or Cancel Your Subscription](https://help.100hires.com/en/article/how-to-pause-downgrade-or-cancel-your-subscription-zecvoz/).

## How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email to **support@100hires.com** from the email address you used to create your account. Include:

* Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
* Your company name
* Confirmation that you want all data removed

## What Gets Deleted

When we delete your account:

* Your user profile
* All candidates in your account
* All jobs and talent pools
* All messages and email history
* All files and attachments
* All settings and configurations

## Important Notes

* Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
* If you're an administrator, deleting your account may affect other colleagues
* If you're the only administrator, the entire company account will be deleted
* Request must come from the email address registered with the account

## Alternative: Remove Yourself from a Company

If you want to leave a company but keep your account:

1. Ask a company administrator to remove you from the team
2. Your personal account remains, but you lose access to that company's data
