Receive 100Hires notifications directly in your Slack workspace so your team stays informed without checking the app.

## What Slack integration does

With Slack connected, you can receive:
* New candidate notifications
* Pipeline stage updates
* Interview reminders
* Custom alerts from automations

## Setting up Slack integration

1. Go to [**Settings / Integrations**](https://app.100hires.com/settings/integrations)

3. Click **Connect**

## Choosing notification channels

You can send different notifications to different channels:

## Notification types

### New candidate alerts
Get notified when someone applies to a job:
* Candidate name
* Job title
* Application source
* Link to profile

### Pipeline updates
Track candidate movement:
* Stage changes
* Disqualifications
* Job assignments

### Interview reminders
Stay prepared for interviews:
* Upcoming interview alerts
* Candidate details
* Meeting links

## Customizing notifications

1. Go to [**Settings / Notifications**](https://app.100hires.com/settings/notifications)
2. Enable or disable specific notification types
3. Choose which events trigger Slack messages
4. Set up different rules per job or team

## Using with pipeline automations

Send Slack alerts via Zapier automation:
1. Set up Zapier integration
2. Use "New candidate in stage" trigger
3. Add Slack "Send message" action
4. Customize the message content

This enables more advanced routing than native integration.

## Tips

* Use a dedicated channel to avoid noise in general channels
* Set up different channels for different job types
* Combine with email notifications for redundancy
* Review notification settings periodically
