How to Let Candidates Book Their Own Interview Slots

Use self-scheduling links to let candidates choose interview times that work for them, like Calendly.



  1. Go to Settings / Self-Scheduling Links
  2. Click Create Scheduling Link
  3. Configure your availability:
  • Available days: Which days of the week
  • Time range: Hours you're available (e.g., 9 AM - 5 PM)
  • Duration: Interview length
  • Buffer time: Gap between interviews
  • Advance notice: Minimum time before interview can be booked
  1. Save



Each team member can have their own scheduling link:


  1. Go to Settings / User Settings
  2. Find the self-scheduling link field
  3. Add your scheduling link URL
  4. Save


Using self-scheduling in email templates


Insert the scheduling link variable in your email templates:


  1. Go to Settings / Email Templates
  2. Create or edit a template
  3. Select the self-scheduling link variable
  4. When sent, it's replaced with the sender's scheduling URL


Example template:

Hi {{candidate_first_name}},

We'd like to schedule a phone screen with you.

Please pick a time that works for you:
{{self_scheduling_link}}

Looking forward to speaking with you!


How it works for candidates


  1. Candidate clicks the link
  2. They see your available time slots
  3. They select a slot
  4. Interview is automatically scheduled
  5. Both parties receive calendar invites

  1. Available slots reflect your actual free time
