How to Set Up AI Scoring Criteria and Score Candidates
Configure AI scoring to automatically evaluate candidates based on your specific criteria.
What AI Scoring Does
AI scoring analyzes candidate information and provides:
- Overall score (0-100)
- Per-criterion scores
- Summary of strengths and weaknesses
- Detailed analysis for each criterion
Setting Up Scoring Criteria
- Open a job
- Go to the AI Scoring tab

- Click Add new prompt

- Write your scoring criterion
- Set the importance weight (1-10)

- Add 3-5 criteria total (recommended)
Writing Effective Criteria
Be specific about what you're evaluating. Example for a Sales Manager role:
Good criterion:
"Evaluate the candidate's B2B sales experience. Look for: quota achievement, deal sizes, sales cycle management, team leadership. Score 0 if no B2B experience, 50 if some experience without leadership, 100 if strong track record with team management."
Weak criterion:
"Good at sales"
Example Criteria Set
For a Senior Software Engineer:
- Technical depth (weight: 10)
> "Assess programming language expertise and system design experience..."
- Leadership experience (weight: 9)
> "Evaluate mentoring, code review, and team collaboration..."
- Problem-solving (weight: 7)
> "Look for complex technical challenges solved..."
- Communication (weight: 5)
> "Assess ability to explain technical concepts..."

- Discussion notes
- Job description
Premium Model Option

Enable Premium Model for:
- 2x smarter analysis
- External research about candidate's past employers
- Company information (size, industry, products)
- Costs ~10x more AI credits per run
Importing Criteria from Other Jobs
- On the AI Scoring tab, click the Import from existing job dropdown

- Select a job
- Criteria are copied to the current job
AI-Generated Criteria
- Click AI recommend prompts

- AI analyzes your job description
- Suggests relevant scoring criteria
- Review and adjust as needed
Running AI Scoring
Manual Scoring
- Open a candidate's profile
- Click Get AI Score button
- Wait for analysis
- View results in the Discussions tab

Automatic Scoring
- Go to job's Workflow tab
- Add AI Score automation to a stage

- Candidates are scored when they reach that stage
- Optionally set threshold actions:
- Score above X: Move to next stage
- Score below Y: Disqualify-
