How to Enable Blind Evaluations to Avoid Bias
Enable blind evaluations so interviewers submit their feedback without seeing what others have written, reducing groupthink and bias.
What are blind evaluations
When blind evaluations are enabled:
- Interviewers cannot see other interviewers' feedback until they submit their own
- Each person forms an independent opinion
- Reduces anchoring bias
- Encourages honest assessments
How it works
Without blind evaluations
- Interviewer A submits evaluation
- Interviewer B can see A's feedback before writing their own
- B might be influenced by A's opinions
With blind evaluations
- Interviewer A submits evaluation
- Interviewer B sees only a blank form
- B submits their independent feedback
- Now both can see each other's evaluations
Enabling blind evaluations
- Go to Settings / Company
- Find Blind evaluations
- Toggle it On

- Save
Setting applies to all jobs and candidates.
Note: Only Administrators and Recruiters can access Company Settings. Interviewers cannot change this setting.
Who can see what
Role | Before Own Submission | After Own Submission | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Administrator | All evaluations | All evaluations | Admins always have full visibility |
Recruiter | Nothing | All evaluations | Subject to blind mode |
Interviewer | Nothing | All evaluations | Subject to blind mode |
Administrators can always see all evaluations regardless of blind mode (needed for oversight).
