How to Enable Blind Evaluations to Avoid Bias

Enable blind evaluations so interviewers submit their feedback without seeing what others have written, reducing groupthink and bias.

What are blind evaluations

When blind evaluations are enabled:

  • Interviewers cannot see other interviewers' feedback until they submit their own
  • Each person forms an independent opinion
  • Reduces anchoring bias
  • Encourages honest assessments

How it works

Without blind evaluations

  1. Interviewer A submits evaluation
  2. Interviewer B can see A's feedback before writing their own
  3. B might be influenced by A's opinions

With blind evaluations

  1. Interviewer A submits evaluation
  2. Interviewer B sees only a blank form
  3. B submits their independent feedback
  4. Now both can see each other's evaluations

Enabling blind evaluations

  1. Go to Settings / Company
  2. Find Blind evaluations
  3. Toggle it On
  4. Save

Setting applies to all jobs and candidates.

Note: Only Administrators and Recruiters can access Company Settings. Interviewers cannot change this setting.
