How to Forward Candidate Resumes to Hiring Managers
Automatically send candidate information to hiring managers and colleagues when candidates reach specific stages.
How It Works
When candidates enter a pipeline stage, 100Hires can automatically email team members with candidate details and resume attached.
Setting up resume forwarding
- Open a job
- Go to the Workflow tab
- Click the bolt icon on the target stage
- Click Add Automation
- Select **Email to Teammate **
- Configure the settings
Configuration options

Recipient
Select which team member receives the notification. They must be part of your company account.
Delay
- Immediately: Send when candidate enters stage
- After X hours/days: Allow time for initial screening
Email content
The system automatically includes:
- Candidate name
- Link to candidate profile
- Resume attachment
- Job title
You can customize the message template.
Example use cases
After initial screening
Forward qualified candidates to hiring manager:
- Stage: "Phone Screen Complete"
- Recipient: Hiring Manager
- Delay: Immediately
- Purpose: Request hiring manager review
Before final interview
Prepare interview panel:
- Stage: "Final Interview"
- Recipient: Interview team members
- Delay: 1 day before interview
- Purpose: Allow review time
Offer approval
Send to decision maker:
- Stage: "Offer Pending"
- Recipient: Department head or HR
- Delay: Immediately
- Purpose: Get approval to extend offer
Alternative: @mention in notes
For one-off notifications instead of automation:
- Open candidate profile
- Go to Discussions tab
- Write a note with @mention: "@John please review this candidate"

- John receives email notification with link
Tips
- Use the Hiring Team feature to ensure relevant people see candidates
- Combine with AI scoring so hiring managers see the score before reviewing
- Set up different notifications for different stages
- Monitor that recipients are acting on notifications
