How to Integrate with Zoom
Connect Zoom to create meeting rooms with one click when scheduling interviews.
What Zoom integration does
When Zoom is connected:
- Click the Zoom button when scheduling an interview to create a room
- Meeting link is included in calendar invites
- Candidates and interviewers receive the same link
- No need to leave 100Hires to create meetings
Setting up Zoom integration
- Go to Settings / Integrations
- Find Zoom section
- Click Connect
- Sign in to your Zoom account
- Authorize 100Hires access
- Integration is active
Scheduling with Zoom
When creating an interview
- Open candidate profile
- Go to Interviews tab
- Click Schedule Interview
- Select date, time, and interviewers
- Click the Zoom button to create a meeting room
- Click Save and Send Invites
What's included in invites
Calendar invites contain:
- Interview date and time
- Zoom meeting link
- Meeting ID and passcode
- Candidate name and job title
- Any notes you add
Managing Zoom meetings
Before the interview
- Meeting link appears in interview details
- Both interviewer and candidate receive the same link
- Link works for scheduled time window
After the interview
- Zoom meetings clean up automatically
- Recording handling depends on your Zoom settings
- No action needed in 100Hires
Without Zoom integration
You can still schedule interviews without Zoom connected:
- Schedule the interview normally
- Manually add meeting link to location field
- Link appears in calendar invites
The integration just automates this step.
Tips
- Ensure your Zoom account has sufficient meeting capacity
- Test the integration with a sample interview first
- Check your Zoom settings for waiting room, recording defaults
- Coordinate with IT if using company-wide Zoom settings
Troubleshooting
Zoom room not created
- Verify integration is connected
- Check Zoom account is active
- Re-authorize if needed
- Contact support if issue persists
Link not in calendar invite
- Confirm interview was saved after Zoom was connected
- Edit and resave the interview
- Check interview details in 100Hires
