How to Update Your Credit Card
This article explains how to update your credit card for your 100Hires subscription. Change your payment method anytime, whether your card is expiring, lost, or you're switching to a different one.
Updating your card
- Go to Settings / Billing
- Find the Payment Method section
- Click Update payment method

- Enter new card details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV/security code
- Billing address
- Click Save
When to update
Update your payment method when:
- Card is expiring
- Card was lost or replaced
- Switching to a different card
- Payment failed due to card issues
After updating
- Your new card will be charged for future payments
- No charges happen immediately (unless payment is overdue)
- A confirmation email is sent to your account email
Payment failed
If a payment fails:
- You'll receive an email notification
- Go to Billing settings
- Update your card information
- Retry payment or wait for automatic retry
Your account remains active briefly while payment issues are resolved. This grace period gives you time to update your payment method.

Security
- Card details are encrypted
- 100Hires uses secure payment processors
- Your full card number is never displayed after entry
- PCI-compliant payment handling
Changing billing contact
To change who receives billing notifications:
- Update your email in user settings
- Or contact support to update your billing email
Tips
- Keep card expiration dates updated before they expire
- Use a card with a long expiration date
- Set a reminder to update before expiration
- Check your spam folder for billing notifications
Card declined
If your card is declined:
- Verify the card number is correct
- Check the expiration date
- Ensure you have sufficient funds or credit
- Contact your bank if issues persist
Cannot access billing
- Only admins can access billing settings
- Contact your company admin if you need billing access
