How to Find Candidate Personal Emails and Phone Numbers with Enrichment APIs

This article explains how to find candidate contact information using enrichment APIs. You can search for personal emails, work emails, and phone numbers based on a LinkedIn URL or existing email address.


Available enrichment APIs


100Hires integrates with these data providers:

Each requires a separate subscription with the provider.


Setting up enrichment


  1. Go to Settings / Integrations
  2. Find the enrichment provider you want to use
  3. Enter your API key (from the provider's dashboard)
  4. Save


Creating an enrichment automation


  1. Open a job's Workflow tab
  2. Click the bolt icon on a pipeline stage
  3. Add Enrich Based on Existing Data automation
  4. Configure:
  • Search for: Personal email, work email, phone, LinkedIn URL
  • Based on: LinkedIn URL or email address
  • API priority: Order to try each provider
  • Search method: One-by-one or all at once
  • Stop when: First result found or all fields found
  • On success: Move to next stage (or specific stage)
  • On failure: Stay in stage or move elsewhere

  1. Stage: Sourced - Add candidates from LinkedIn using Chrome extension
  2. Stage: Enriching - Automation runs enrichment APIs
  3. Stage: Validated - Automation validates found emails with ZeroBounce
  4. Stage: Outreach - Nurture campaign sends emails to validated contacts


Enrichment tips


  • LinkedIn URL is the most reliable input for finding personal emails
  • Multiple providers increase success rate
  • Set API priority based on your data quality experience
  • Use "stop when one result found" to save API credits
  • Validate enriched emails before sending outreach


What gets enriched


Depending on the provider and available data:


  • Personal email addresses
  • Work email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • LinkedIn URL (if not already present)
  • Current company and title


Credit usage


Enrichment APIs charge per lookup. 100Hires passes through these costs:


  • Credits are consumed with each API call
  • Check your provider dashboard for credit balance
  • Failed lookups may still consume credits (provider-dependent)
