How to Give Star Ratings to Candidates
Use star ratings for quick, informal evaluations that appear in the candidate's discussion history.
What are star ratings
Star ratings let you:
- Give 1-5 stars to a candidate
- Share quick opinions with colleagues
- See ratings in the discussion timeline
- Track who rated and when
Star ratings are lightweight evaluations, different from formal evaluation forms.
How to rate a candidate
- Open the candidate's profile
- Go to the Discussions tab (right panel)
- Find the star rating widget near the top
- Click on stars (1-5) to rate
- Rating is posted to the discussion

What gets recorded
Each rating creates a note showing:
- Number of stars given
- Who gave the rating
- Date and time
- Appears in chronological order with other activity
Multiple ratings
- Multiple team members can rate the same candidate
- Each person's rating appears separately
- No aggregate score is calculated
- Use to see different perspectives
