How to Use AI for Job Descriptions and Salary Recommendations
This article explains how to use AI tools in 100Hires to write job descriptions and determine competitive salary ranges. You can use the AI Copilot to rewrite descriptions and get salary recommendations based on job title and location.
AI job description rewriting
When creating or editing a job:
- Write a basic job description (or paste an existing one)
- Find the Rewrite with AI-copilot button near the description field

- Click to have AI improve your content
The AI will:
- Improve clarity and structure
- Add professional formatting
- Suggest missing sections
- Keep your key requirements
Review the output and edit as needed before saving.
AI salary recommendations
When creating or editing a job:
- Enter the job title and location
- Find the Recommend Salary button next to the salary range fields

- Click to get AI-suggested salary range
The recommendation includes:
- Suggested salary range based on job title and location
- Local currency conversion
- Comparison to your default currency
How salary recommendations work
The AI considers:
- Job title and seniority level
- Geographic location
- Industry salary data
- Cost of living in the area
Recommendations are starting points. Adjust based on:
- Your company's compensation philosophy
- Specific requirements beyond the title
- Benefits and equity you offer
