Integrate 100Hires with Slack

Push hiring activity from 100Hires into Slack so your team can react to candidates in the channel they already live in.

What the integration does

Once connected, 100Hires can post recruiting events to the Slack channels you choose, so your hiring team sees activity without leaving Slack.

Prerequisites

  • 100Hires user with the Admin role.
  • Slack workspace where you can install apps.

Connect Slack

  1. In 100Hires, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find Slack in the list and follow the connect flow.
  3. Authorize 100Hires in your Slack workspace and follow the current in-product connection flow.

Common use cases

Slack notification example from 100Hires recruiting activity

  • #recruiting - shared channel for the hiring team to stay on top of pipeline activity.
  • Per-job channel - high-priority roles get a dedicated channel so the hiring manager and recruiter discuss each candidate in context.
  • Alerts channel - a separate channel for higher-signal events so leadership sees standout candidates without the full firehose.

More automations via Zapier

For Slack workflows that go beyond the built-in notifications - for example, posting candidates to Slack when they reach a specific pipeline stage - you can use the Zapier integration. Go to Settings > Integrations, find Zapier, and use the "New candidate in stage" trigger with Slack as the destination.

Troubleshooting

"I don't see messages in the channel"

  • Confirm the channel was authorized when you connected Slack. If you want to add a new channel after the fact, revisit Settings > Integrations and re-run the Slack connect flow.
  • For private channels, make sure the 100Hires Slack app has been added as a member of the channel.

Disconnect

You can disconnect Slack from Settings > Integrations. This stops future events from being posted. Messages already in Slack history remain there.
