How to Export Candidates from Indeed and Import to 100Hires

This article explains how to export candidates from Indeed and import them into 100Hires. You can transfer candidates from your Indeed employer account to manage them in 100Hires using CSV export and import features.

Step 1: Enable two-factor authentication in Indeed

Before you can export candidates, Indeed requires two-factor authentication (TFA) to be enabled on your employer account. The export feature will not work without this.

  1. Log in to your Indeed employer account
  2. Go to Account settings
  3. Enable Two-factor authentication

For active job postings

  1. Go to your Indeed employer dashboard
  2. Select the job listing containing candidates you want to export
  3. Click the checkbox at the top left to select all candidates or select specific candidates individually
  4. Click the Export candidates button
  5. Indeed will generate a CSV file with candidate information

For closed or archived job postings

  1. Go to the Jobs page in your Indeed account
  2. Find and select the closed job containing candidates
  3. Select specific candidates or use the top-left checkbox to select all
  4. Click Export candidates

  3. Drag and drop your Indeed export file
  4. Map the columns from Indeed to 100Hires profile fields such as name, email, phone number, and resume or application data
  5. Review the import preview for any errors
  6. Click Finish to add candidates to your account

  • Add a source: Tag imported candidates with "Indeed" as their source for tracking
  • Bulk upload resumes: If Indeed provides resume files, you can also use Add candidates > Upload resumes to import them with automatic resume parsing
